The Dos

• Exfoliate your skin with body scrub before your appointment.

• Allow hair to grow at least 1/4" before your session. 

• Be fresh for your appointment - cleansed skin is best. 

• Exfoliate 48hrs after your wax or sugaring session. 

Talk with your esthetician about your skin: 

Are you sensitive? 

Have you experienced a reaction in the past? 

Do you have any allergies? 

Are you pregnant? 

Are you taking any of the following:

Blood thinners, Retin-A, Acutane, Salicylic Acid, or Benzoyl Peroxide?

The Don'ts

• Don't wax if you have a sunburn.

• Avoid shaving between appointments. 

• Avoid touching freshly-waxed skin for 24hrs. 

• Avoid exposure to sun or tanning beds for 24hrs before & after your session. 

• Avoid HOT baths and showers for 24hrs.  COOL water is fine.
